Time with Daddy is always special. Now that they’re older, the girls go on Daddy Dates. When they were younger though, play time was the special time with Daddy. And he was good at playing with them too (still is). I don’t have a great imagination and am just not very good at doing that kind of play for very long. He, on the other hand, always knew how to get down on their level and be a kid with them. I still say that dads are just kids in adult bodies.
We got our tea set in Poland. Polish pottery is expensive in America but was reasonable when bought in Poland. The factories had started making patterns that would appeal to Americans, thus the patriotic looking print.
The yellow was tough to deal with while editing. I played a lot with the different sliders. The main things are: I decreased the clarity just a bit to give the photo a softness and messed with the green, orange, and yellow sliders until I got a look that I liked. I ended up running a preset and then adjusting the temp to be a little cooler. I finished with a small vignette. Here’s the original:
